Pre-season tournament at Heybridge.

This was a useful pre-season tournament and one that Thaxted performed pretty well at, finishing second out of five teams, winning all of their games except the one against Stock who narrowly won the title match by two goals to one. The teams in Thaxted's league were: Boreham, Fennlands, Maldon Saints and Stock. Each team played each other once in standard 11 a side rules with each half consisting of a strict ten minutes. Jeremy had a chance to see how a few new players performed and how one of two did in newish positions. All in all a well run and enjoyable tournament and one that should set Thaxted up for the competitive season that lies ahead.
